Amy Cassidy, MD, joins the Inpatient and General Anesthesiology section as an Assistant Professor. Cassidy completed an internship and residency at Virginia Commonwealth University Health System (2008), and will hold appointments at Wake Forest Baptist Health-Lexington Medical and Davie Medical Centers.

Edwards Christopher James

Christopher Edwards, MD, joins the faculty in the Regional Anesthesiology and Acute Pain Management section as an Assistant Professor (2015). Edwards completed his residency in Anesthesiology (2013) and a fellowship in Regional Anesthesiology and Acute Pain Management (2014) at Wake Forest School of Medicine.

Ann Lawrence, MD, is an Assistant Professor in the Pediatric Anesthesiology section and comes to Wake Forest School of Medicine (2015) from University Hospitals Case Medical Center in Ohio. Hadley completed a Pediatric Anesthesiology fellowship (2009) and a residency in Anesthesiology (2008) at the University Hospitals Case Medical Center where she also served as Chief Resident from 2007-2008.

Rhett Hadley, MD, joins the faculty in the Cardiothoracic Anesthesiology section as an Assistant Professor (2015) after completing a fellowship at Cleveland Clinic in Cardiothoracic and Vascular Anesthesiology (2015). Hadley completed a residency in Anesthesiology at Case Western Reserve University Hospital, Cleveland, Ohio in 2014. 

Neubauer Daniel Joseph

Daniel Neubauer, DO, joins the Inpatient and General Anesthesiology section as an Assistant Professor (2015) in the Department of Anesthesiology. Neubauer completed a residency in Anesthesiology (2013) at Ohio University, Grandview/Southview Medical Center in Dayton, Ohio. 

Patel Nishita Dalal

Nishita Patel, MD, joins the faculty as Assistant Professor in the Cardiothoracic Anesthesiology section (2015) after completing a fellowship at Wake Forest School of Medicine in Adult Cardiothoracic Anesthesia and a residency in Anesthesiology (2014) at the University of North Carolina Hospital in Chapel Hill.

 Pecorella Shelly Rae Harrell

Shelly Pecorella, MD, joins the faculty in the Pediatric Anesthesiology section as an Assistant Professor (2015). After completing her residency in Anesthesiology at Stanford University (2014), Pecorella completed a Pediatric Anesthesiology fellowship in 2015 at Duke University School of Medicine.

Ashley Talbott, MD, joins the Inpatient and General Anesthesiology faculty as an Assistant Professor (2015) in the Department of Anesthesiology. Talbott completed her residency in Anesthesiology (2015) at Wake Forest School of Medicine where she also served as Co-Chief Resident from 2014-2015.
