Online Curriculum Delivery

Academic Computing has developed an extensive, web-based curriculum site for the presentation of Graduate, Medical and Physician Assistant materials.  The central point of this site for the student and faculty is the calendar, where all lecture notes, slides, reading documents, and audio files are present.

For lecture notes and readings, Academic Computing uses a combination of Microsoft Word and Adobe Acrobat.  Depending on the media and extent of the material, Academic Computing will use discretion on which application will best fit the need. Presentations can also include digital video clips, digital audio clips, and customized animations. The development staff of Academic Computing can assist in preparing these materials.

Every lecture presentation is recorded digitally at the time of presentation, and these files are posted to the web server for review by the students.  This is a critical tool in the curriculum that has been very well received by the students as an important study aid.
