Systems Administration
Academic Computing has two systems administrators who are responsible for maintaining over 60 servers in support of both administration and research areas of the school. They handle all data security, hardware issues, database administration, and applications issues for these servers.
If you encounter a server problem related to your curriculum, contact the Help Desk at (336) 716-4357 and they will notify the on-call systems administrator to take care of the issue. Systems administrators are on-call 24 hours a day/7 days a week.
