HarperRebecca Harper, PA-C, Class of 2009

The Wake Forest University PA Program has literally changed my life! I have learned everything it takes to be a great PA while in this program. I feel ready to enter my clinical rotations in the 2nd year and look forward to practicing PA one day using all that I learned from this institution. I am so proud to call myself a WFU PA student!

Alveta S. Henderson Nash, PA-C, Class of 2008

NashThe Wake Forest School of Medicine Physician Assistant Program was tailor-made for me. Every learning experience I had while in the program catered to my needs as a student. From the interview process to PBL and even the scheduling of my clinical rotations, the program truly immersed me into challenges and opportunities that I will always be honored to say I overcame.

My personal status as a single mother in the program was seldom compromised due to the diligence of program faculty and staff to see me achieve excellence.

Choosing to be a part of Wake Forest’s Department of PA Studies was, without a doubt, the best decision I could ever have made for myself and my career. While the facilities and faculty are first-rate, their problem-based approach to learning truly set Wake Forest apart from all of the other programs I considered attending. This allowed me to develop both the confidence and skills needed to be a truly well-rounded and free-thinking clinician.
