Appeals to the Dean

For sanctions less than suspension and dismissal, the decision of the Associate Dean for Education will be final and not subject to appeal.

For sanctions involving either suspension or dismissal, the student shall have ten working days following notification to appeal to the Dean, or his/her designee. The decision of the Dean, or his/her designee, shall be final. The Dean, or his/her designee, shall communicate the decision to the student no later than ten working days following receipt of the appeal. The Associate Dean for Education will also be advised as to the disposition of the matter and will so advise the Faculty Committee on Student Discipline, the PA Honor Council, and the Department Chair or his/her designee.
