WFSM PA Faculty Featured in JAAPA Editorial

Associate Professor L. Gail Curtis, MPAS, PA-C,DFAAPA, is featured as author of a lead editorial this month about demographic changes happening within the PA profession.   The editorial appears in the Journal of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (JAAPA).  JAAPA is the official peer reviewed clinical journal of the AAPA. It is read by about 75,000 PAs each month as well as additional subscribers from other professions and online readers at www.jaapa.com.

Professor Curtis has been a champion for the advancement of women within our profession and in recent years has mentored numerous PAs and WFSM PA graduates successfully into regional and national leadership roles. She also serves as a key leader within our profession's House of Delegates and on the AAPA Board of Directors.
