Gallery Spaces

Pastel Artwork

There are 10 galleries throughout the Medical Center where visual art is displayed to provide visual stimulation for patients, visitors and employees. Contact information for individual artists is available upon request or in each gallery. Exhibits are displayed for 3 months and are coordinated through the Arts for Health program's Art Curator, Barbara Cullen.

Commons Gallery

Located in the Medical School Lobby, Ground Floor

Kelly Taylor of Greensboro displays oil paintings on canvas depicting a combination of objects and emphasizing light and shadow.

Family Medicine Gallery

Located in Piedmont Plaza I, Third Floor

Owens Daniels of Winston - Salem displays photography of dancers ( both posed and in motion) from the School of the Arts.

Reynolds Gallery

Deane Valentine Bowers of Seabrook Island, SC, exhibits bird themed pieces, rabbit and fish plaques, and houses all constructed with recycled materials and colorfully painted.

Sticht Gallery

Located on the Ground Floor

  • Gallery 1: Charles Hildebrandt of Winston-Salem displays acrylic on canvas paintings of various scenic areas.
  • Gallery 2: Patrice Rucker of Winston-Salem exhibits scenic paintings done in acrylic with an emphasis on skies and flowers.

Spine Gallery

Located on the Ground Floor

Connie Logan of Greensboro, both teacher and painter,  displays large paintings of flowers, landscapes and still life.

Surgical Services

Located in Ardmore Tower, First Floor

Joyce Metters of Lexington exhibits a colorful landscape painting in oil.

Watlington Gallery

Located on the First Floor

Viktoria Majestic of East Bend displays traditional oil paintings of flowers, still lifes, and landscapes.

Executive Suite Gallery

Located in Janeway Tower, Tenth Floor

  • Joyce Metters displays traditional landscape, flowers and still life paintings all done in oil on canvas or linen.
  • Olga Dorenko of Asheville displays unique oil paintings depicting motion and swirls of color.
  • Randall Lightfoot of High Point exhibits traditional landscapes done in oil with an emphasis on local areas.

Brenner Children's Hospital

Located on the Ninth Floor

Arts for Life gallery featuring the children of Brenner's artwork.    

Davie Medical Center

Vicki Rees of Raleigh displays her summer themed oil paintings which include fruits, birds, and landscapes.

525@Vine

Ryan Gustman of Winston-Salem displays photos of older buildings in Innovation Quarter and downtown Winston-Salem.
