Gallery Spaces

Pastel Artwork

There are 10 galleries throughout the Medical Center where visual art is displayed to provide visual stimulation for patients, visitors and employees. Contact information for individual artists is available upon request or in each gallery. Exhibits are displayed for 3 months and are coordinated through the Arts & Health program's Art Curator, Barbara Cullen.

Commons Gallery

Located in the Medical School Lobby, Ground Floor

Dr. Joe Hedgpeth of Thomasville displays his traditional watercolors with an emphasis on landscapes and flowers.

Family Medicine Gallery

Located in Piedmont Plaza I, Third Floor

Lea Booth of Lansing displays a variety of artwork which includes paintings in oil and acrylic as well as drawings and photography.  

Reynolds Gallery

Dona McNeill of Holly Springs shows her table top clay sculptures that have a whimsical nature which combine imagination and the spirit world.

Sticht Gallery

Located on the Ground Floor

  • Gallery 1: Vickie Rees of Raleigh displays large acrylic paintings of various food items, including many desserts.
  • Gallery 2: Terri Burke of Lewisville displays colorful photographs of flowers, butterflies and landscapes.

Spine Gallery

Located on the Ground Floor

Employee show features art in various mediums including photography, oils, acrylic, clay and watercolor.

Surgical Services

Located in Ardmore Tower, First Floor

Dr. Brandon Drafts displays photography of the beach and mountains.

Watlington Gallery

Located on the First Floor

Judi Russell of Advance shows her colorfully designed paintings utilizing different patterns and various mediums.

Executive Suite Gallery

Located in Janeway Tower, Tenth Floor

Helen Etters displays her imaginative digital drawings and photographs. Burke, Russell, and Rees also display in this gallery.

Brenner Children's Hospital

Located on the Ninth Floor

Arts for Life gallery featuring the children of Brenner's artwork.    

Davie Medical Center

Dr. Kathryn Greven displays her colorful photos of mountains and sunsets printed on wrap- around canvas.


Tom Willis of Efland displays 3 large acrylic abstract paintings until July 15.  Rankin Williard will display his art after July 15.
