Gallery Spaces

Pastel Artwork

There are 10 galleries throughout the Medical Center where visual art is displayed to provide visual stimulation for patients, visitors and employees. Contact information for individual artists is available upon request or in each gallery. Exhibits are displayed for 3 months and are coordinated through the Arts for Health program's Art Curator, Barbara Cullen.

Commons Gallery

Located in the Medical School Lobby, Ground Floor

Mary Taub of Chapel Hill displays collage works of various subject matter created with duct tape and mixed media.

Family Medicine Gallery

Located in Piedmont Plaza I, Third Floor

Virginia Kassay displays acrylic paintings of different types of foods.

    Reynolds Gallery

    Piedmont Craftsmen displays a variety of 3D works including fabrics, pottery and glass pieces.Sticht Gallery

    Located on the Ground Floor

    • Gallery 1: Virginia Kassay from Reidsville displays acrylic paintings of various foods and table settings.
    • Gallery 2: Bonnie Pope of Greensboro exhibits watercolors of landscapes and flowers.

    Spine Gallery

    Located on the Ground Floor

    Arts for Life displays artwork from children at Brenners, including prints of cakes, ice cream and other sweets.

    Surgical Services

    Located in Ardmore Tower, First Floor

    Judy Glazier of High Point exhibits a garden scene.

    Watlington Gallery

    Located on the First Floor

    Judy Glazier of High Point exhibits paintings of beach scenes, flowers, and landcapes done in oil, watercolor and acrylic.

    Executive Suite Gallery

    Located in Janeway Tower, Tenth Floor

    • Carol Kaminski of Greensboro exhibits paintings done in resin.  
    • Judy Glazier exhibits paintings done in acrylic, oil and  watercolor.
    • Jeanne Twilley of Greensboro exhibits acrylic paintings of flowers and landscapes.

    Located on the Ninth Floor

    Arts for Life gallery featuring the children of Brenner's artwork.    

    Davie Medical Center

    Judy Lomax of Greensboro displays large colorful oil paintings.


    Barbara Mellin of Winston-Salem exhibits print based collages.
