Predictors of Heart Disease

What we are studying

The purpose of this research study is to find ways to determine if people have serious conditions such as heart disease. We also want to find out if we can predict who will develop these conditions and how their body reacts to these conditions.

Who we are studying

Men and Women
Races:
- White
- African American
- Asian
- American Indian or Alaska Native
- Native Hawaiian or Pacific Islander
- Other
All Ethnicities
Ages 18+

Eligibility Criteria

Patients undergoing an evaluation for coronary disease
Have either a coronary CT angiogram or a cardiac catheterization

What is involved

Participation will last at least one year
Study visit will occur while patient is already in the hospital/emergency department
2 follow up calls (at 1 month and 1 year)
