What we are studying

This study will look at standard of treatment for your condition which is chemotherapy and radiation therapy (CRT) and compare that to standard treatment plus a vitamin D supplement. We aim to assess whether the treatment with a vitamin D supplement is tolerable and has any effect on rectal cancer cells. The use of the Vitamin D supplement in this study is investigational.
