Using an Internet Survey to Improve Adherence in Pediatric Atopic Dermatitis

What we are studying

The purpose of this research study is to determine whether a weekly Internet survey can improve communication between parents and their child's doctor about the child’s eczema treatment. We are asking your permission for the child to be in the study because he or she has eczema. The child cannot take part in this study if he or she is not between 2 and 8 years old, or is allergic or sensitive to triamcinolone.

• Ages 2 - 8

Eligibility Criteria

• Children ages 2 to 8 and one parent/guardian of each child
• Children with mild to severe atopic dermatitis (AD)

What is involved

• 1 baseline visits
• Parents will complete a weekly internet survey
• Return visit at 4 weeks

Compensation:

$40 for completing all study visits
