Rehabilitation Programs for Heart Failure

What we are studying

The purpose of this research study is to collect information about rehabilitation programs for people admitted to the hospital with a diagnosis of heart failure. The goal is to determine the potential for doing a larger study in this population.

Who we are studying

  • Men and Women
  • Races:
    • White
    • African American
    • Asian
    • American Indian or Alaska Native
    • Native Hawaiian or Pacific Islander
    • Other
  • All Ethnicities
  • Ages 60+

Eligibility Criteria

  • Hospitalized for heart failure
  • Diagnosed with heart failure after being hospitalized for another reason

What is involved

  • Study treatment for 3 months
  • Follow-Up phone calls about 2 weeks; 1 month; 2 months; and 3 months after finishing study treatment
