Pain and Closure Methods After C-Section

What we are studying

The purpose of this research study is to determine what type of skin closure after cesarean section helps decrease pain the most, and improves the appearance of the incision site.

Who we are studying

  • Women
  • Races:
    • White
    • African American
    • Asian
    • American Indian or Alaska Native
    • Native Hawaiian or Pacific Islander
    • Other
  • All Ethnicities
  • Ages 18 - 44

Eligibility Criteria

  • Scheduled cesarean section

What is involved

  • Participants will be the study about 6 six after their cesarean section
  • Majority of study activities occur while in the hospital
  • One follow-up visit 6 weeks after surgery

Compensation

Participants will receive at $20 Target gift card.
