Assessment of Inflammatory Bowel Disease

What we are studying

The purpose of this research study is to look at the effects of a new computer imaging technique called i-Scan during your colonoscopy. i-Scan is a digital image program that increases the picture resolution. This method allows the doctor to look at a larger, clear image of your tissue. It is expected that this image will be more clear than the usual method of looking at the tissue under a microscope.
