Research Study Using a New Topical Ointment for the Treatment of Atopic Dermatitis

What we are studying

To look at safety and effectiveness of a new topical ointment, that is not a cortisone or steroid ointment applied twice daily compared to placebo (ointment with no active drug) in children and adolescents and adults (ages 2 years and older) with mild to moderate atopic dermatitis. You have a 2 in 3 chance of receiving the study drug.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Mild to moderate atopic dermatitis

What is involved

  • 7-10 for study participation with up to 7 visits to the study center; Two blood draws during the study; Physical exam; Skin exam; Questionnaires; Urine pregnancy test
