Supporting MSM and Transgender Women in Accessing and Receiving Medical and Other Care

What we are studying

Men who have sex with men (MSM) and transgender women are at increased risk for HIV infection. We aim to increase HIV testing and improve linkage to and retention in care and health outcomes among underserved, underinsured, and hard-to-reach, racially and ethnically diverse MSM and transgender women, ages 16-34 years old with HIV. The intervention harnesses established social media that MSM and transgender women between these ages commonly use, including Facebook, text messaging, and established GPS-based mobile application (“apps”).
