NeoTract® UroLift® System

What we are studying

As men grow older, the prostate grows in size. When the prostate gland grows, it can cause the tube that carries urine from the bladder to be squeezed shut so that it is difficult for the urine to get out of your body. After the tube has been squeezed for a while, you can get symptoms such as difficulty passing urine, straining to pass urine, needing to urinate frequently and feeling like the need to urinate is urgent. These symptoms can disrupt normal daily activities and affect the ability to sleep. This condition is called Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH). This study will evaluate the safety and effectiveness of UroLift® System in men with this type of non-lateral lobe middle growth which is often called an enlarged median lobe.
