Getting to an improved Understanding of Low-Density Lipoprotein Cholesterol and Dyslipidemia Management a Registry of High Cardiovascular Risk Subjects in the United States: The GOULD Study

What we are studying

This is an observational study for people with atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease (ASCVD). ASCVD is a condition, which occurs partly due to elevated cholesterol levels in the blood, resulting in buildup of plaque in your arteries. Plaque is made up of fat, cholesterol, calcium and other substances in your blood. Over time, plaque hardens and narrows your arteries, which limits blood flow to the heart and other areas of your body. This observational study is being done to better understand the use of cholesterol lowering medications in people with ASCVD.
