The BestHealth Best You Challenge is about feeling your best. BestHealth will help you create a healthy body and lifestyle through lectures, discussions, interactive exercises, cooking classes, and more.
8 - Week Program
During this 8-week program our trained facilitators will help you to:
- Lose weight safely, effectively and permanently
- Reduce your cholesterol, blood sugar, and blood pressure
- Reduce risk of chronic disease (heart, cancer and diabetes)
- Learn which foods add to your health
- Develop a simple but invigorating exercise program that will enhance your life
- Embrace the Wellness Challenge philosophy: Be the Best You
Screenings & Cost
You'll receive an initial and final screening during the 8-week program. The screenings will include: BMI, weight, blood pressure, cholesterol, glucose, and body measurements. There is a $15 fee for participation. No refunds.
Spring 2017 Challenge - Announcements:
BestHealth will be conducting your Final Weigh-In on Saturday, April 29th from 10 am to Noon at William G. White YMCA, West End Room. At the weigh-in, you will have similar screening to the initial screening, so you can compare your results. Don't forget to register for the final screening.
View a calendar of each of the BestHealth Best You classes. Be sure to pre- register for: Final screening, cooking classes, cycle, yoga and body flow classes. The top 3 participants who attend the most events by the end of the day on Monday, April 24th, will be given a cash prize at the Final Weigh - In on Saturday, April 29th.
Fall 2017 Challenge:
The first session of the 2017 Fall Challenge starts Saturday, September 9, 2017.
