Ads rates are calculated based on width (in columns) and height (in inches). The width of a column varies by publication. Below are some sample local newspaper insertion costs.*
Winston-Salem Journal
Approximate cost of a one-time, mid-week insertion:
3 columns by 4 inches: $434.64
2 columns by 7 inches: $507.08
3 columns by 10 inches: $1,086.60
Approximate cost of a one-time Sunday insertion:
3 columns by 4 inches: $ 515.40
2 columns by 7 inches: $601.30
3 columns by 10 inches: $1,288.50
