Type Size and Line Spacing

The size/leading ratio for printed publications (newletters, brochures, etc.) is 3/4.

For larger type sizes, the 3/4 relationship is too great. When using type sizes 15 points and larger, reduce the leading to work better optically.

The lines below show a baseline grid of 12 points.
