Logo File Formats
Which file format should I download?
EMF (Enhanced Windows Metafile)
EMF is the preferred file format for inserting into all Microsoft Office documents that will be printed. EMF files are vector art files that can be enlarged without loss of quality.
NOTE: The proper way to bring this file into a Microsoft Office document (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) is to go to the Insert tab and click on the Picture button. Do not open the EMF and copy and paste it into your document.
JPG (Joint Photographic Experts Group)
JPG is the preferred file format for inserting into files that will be viewed online or on-screen (PowerPoint presentations and web pages). JPG images can be low resolution, so a JPG image may appear fuzzy if enlarged too much. JPG files are generally not suitable for printing.
EPS (Encapsulated PostScript)
EPS is the preferred file format for outside vendors who produce premiums and printed items, professional graphic designers and print shops. EPS files are vector art files that can be enlarged without loss of quality.
Unless otherwise noted, all EPS logo files are CMYK process colors. If you need a Pantone spot color please use the specifications indicated on the Design Basics > Logo > Logo Colors web page.
