Critical Illness, Injury and Recovery Research Center (CIIRRC)
The Critical Illness, Injury and Research Recovery Research Center (CIIRRC) seeks to improve the burden of critical care related disorders on human health. Our approach, including prevention, treatment and recovery, will use a discovery-based model to bridge the translational research spectrum of basic, clinical, epidemiologic and health policy sciences.
CIIRRC Pilot Grant Request for Applications (RFA)
The CIIRRC seeks innovative interdisciplinary applications
for basic, clinical, and translational pilot research projects related to
critical illness and injury. Existing or newly formed inter-disciplinary teams
are encouraged to apply. Preliminary/pilot data are not required. This award is
only open to Wake Forest School of Medicine and Wake Forest University faculty
in the PI role; however, research teams may include other investigators outside
of Wake Forest. Successful pilot studies will receive up to $6,000 total, to be
spent within a six month project period.
Please see the complete RFA for instructions and guidelines. The deadline for the CIIRRC pilot grant has been
extended until November 14, 2016. Letters of Intent are recommended but not
required to be submitted. It is not too late to submit a proposal. Please
