New Study Opens:
97609: Impact of Genomics and Exposures on Disparities in Breast Cancer Radiosensitivity (1 credit)
This eagerly anticipated study is now open to accrual. The protocol document, consent form, and appendices have been uploaded to the website. There are 1000 accruals available with this study. (Note: To obtain the Appendix 15, please enter 97609 as the password.)
Mile Stones Newsletter:
The semi-annual Research Base Mile Stones Newsletter is attached and is available on our website. This edition of Mile Stones includes an article about the new 97609 study by Jim Urbanic, MD, PI.
Annual Meeting Information:
Online registration is now available for the Research Base Annual Meeting – October 20-22, 2011 in Greenville, SC. Visit the Annual Meeting page of our website for additional information and registration.
The Nurse/CRA track has been approved for 20.5 hours of CME credit. Physician CEU’s has been approved for 21 credit hours.
Reservations can be made at the Hyatt Regency Greenville through September 23th at the rate of $115 per night. After September 23rd the room block will be released and the room availability nor the per night rate will be guaranteed.
The smoking cessation training offered on Thursday and Friday morning is filling quickly. Any registrations for this session received after September 30th will be put on a waiting list. Please contact Lisa Autry if you have questions.
