97509:(A Feasibility Study of Armodafinil for Brain Radiation-Induced Fatigue):

The Armodafinil study only has 2 accrual slots still remaining. We would like to close this study to accrual by the end of August. Please keep this study in mind as you screen patients.

97609:(Impact of Genomics and Exposures on Disparities in Breast Cancer Radiosensitivity)

There have been some questions regarding the “End of Radiation Therapy” sample draw. One of the primary endpoints of this study is to establish whether a change occurs in the genetic biomarkers found within the samples of patients receiving radiation therapy. Therefore the “End of Radiation Therapy” sample draw is crucial to the study. Understanding that samples cannot be shipped to the Wake Forest Lab on Fridays, these samples must be collected and sent to the lab for analysis as soon as possible following the last day of radiation therapy.
