The following updates were made to the CCCWFU CCOP Research Base website for the week of December 31, 2012.

Announcement- Conference Call:

99211(A Feasibility of Delivering a Quitline Based Smoking Cessation Intervention in Cancer Patients Receiving Outpatient Treatment)

A conference call to discuss recruitment strategies for this study will be held on Thursday, January 10th at 2:00pm. Study PI, Kate Weaver, will be joined by the research staff from the highest accruing site, Wichita CCOP.

Accrual Totals:
During the month of December, 60 patients were accrued to CCCWFU CCOP Research Base trials. Congratulations to CTSU and Michigan CCOP for accruing the most patients.  See the Research Base website spotlight section for further information.

There were 3 adverse events received during the month of December.
