Center for Applied Learning

The Center for Applied Learning at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center is a cooperative initiative that brings together the many, unique educational strengths within an academic medical center. The educational resources available from Wake Forest University Health Sciences, North Carolina Baptist Hospital, Winston-Salem State University Nursing Program, and Northwest AHEC come together to provide interactive educational experiences using the principles of applied learning. This major new medical center initiative advances the clinical capacities and skills of health care providers in practice as well as new professionals in training.
