Values

We believe that our first responsibility is to the patients who will be treated by the health care practitioners we support. For that reason, our primary mission is to improve the care and safety of the patients who will fall under the care of the learners we train through applied learning courses and through research projects to advance the delivery of health care.

We also believe that we owe a tremendous debt to the individuals and families who have chosen to participate in our whole body donation program. Their gifts of human tissue provide a unique and valuable resource to save and support life in the learning curricula required by the community of medics, doctors, physician assistants and nurses we support as well as the interdisciplinary teams of learners in our medical community.

We have a responsibility to support the learning of the individual health care providers and health care teams who choose to use our educational services. Our goal is to engage health care practitioners in active hands-on learning events that foster medical competency and confidence rather than simply providing teaching. We believe knowledge that is best applied to clinical practice enables learning verified for practice. We share and partner with pre-eminent professional medical societies, government agencies and industry to provide the optimal resources that advance applied learning and competency assessment. We believe that our first responsibility is to the patients who will be treated by the health care practitioners we support.  For that reason, our primary mission is to improve the care and safety of the patients who will fall under the care of the learners we train through applied learning courses and through research projects to advance the delivery of health care.
