The Center for Experiential and Applied Learning (CEAL) at Wake Forest School of Medicine uses the latest in experiential and applied learning techniques to prepare health care professionals to excel in real-world applications of care. With an impressive infrastructure of facilities, and access to clinicians and researchers at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center, CEAL provides in-depth, ongoing education for practicing clinical professionals and students.

At CEAL, learners gain hands-on experience with fresh human tissue, synthetic tissue, high fidelity patient simulation, standardized patients, tabletop task trainers and mock clinical environments. CEAL instructors use innovative techniques to improve patient care and patient safety in a wide variety of health care environments.
