Cancer is a war that will kill 577,190 people in the United States in this year alone. Inherited or de novo genetic changes are hallmarks of cancer. As geneticists, epidemiologists, and clinicians, we are working together to fight this war. We are optimistic that our effort in genetic research can provide weapons to prevent, detect, and treat this deadly disease.

On behalf of the faculty, students and staff of the Center for Cancer Genomics, I welcome you to our web site. I hope it will provide you with information on the latest developments and breakthroughs from our Center.
