Julian M. Thomas, MD
Dr. Thomas is a non-invasive clinical cardiologist who joins us from the New York Heart Center in Watertown, New York. After earning his medical degree from The University of the West Indies in 1995, he came to the United States where he completed his residency in Internal Medicine and Fellowship in Cardiovascular Medicine from Howard University Hospital in Washington, DC. Dr. Thomas is Board Certified in Internal Medicine / Cardiovascular Disease.
Dr. Thomas has expertise and special interest in Transthoracic Echocardiography and Stress Echo, Exercise Stress Testing, Exercise and Pharmacological Nuclear, EGG and Arrhythmia Evaluation, Acute Coronary Syndrome and Heart Failure.
Dr. Thomas believes that teamwork with informed patients and their primary care physicians is crucial. He feels that teamwork helps to more thoroughly investigate the patient’s conditions, making it easier in the future to manage their health problems.
Dr. Thomas enjoys playing lawn tennis, photography traveling, collecting and listening to music

William J. Scarpa, Jr., MD
Dr. Scarpa is a non-invasive clinical cardiologist who joins us with more than 20 years experience. He received his BA in Biology from Castleton State College in Castleton, Vermont and his MD from St. Georges University School of Medicine in Grenada, West Indies. He completed his residency in internal medical and Fellowship in Cardiovascular Disease at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City, followed by an additional Fellowship in Nuclear Cardiology at Columbia University, St. Lukes/Roosevelt Hospital in New York City.
Dr. Scarpa is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiology and Nuclear Cardiology. His areas of interest include all aspects of non-interventional, consultative cardiology, nuclear cardiology, stress testing and diagnostic modalities.
Dr. Scarpa tries to provide excellent care in all aspects of cardiovascular disease. His goal is to practice and provide his patients and colleagues using guideline based cardiovascular care along with common sense. This has provided him with me an excellent reputation amongst his peers and patients.
Dr. Scarpa is married and has three children. He enjoys spending time with his family, music, reading, skiing and outdoor activities.
