Marcela Heinrich, MD

Dr. Heinrich graduated from the Bowman Gray School of Medicine. She joined Westgate Pediatrics in 1999 after completing her Pediatrics Residency training at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. She is Board Certified in Pediatrics and is a Certified Instructor of Infant Massage.

She is fluent in English, Spanish and German and sees children of all ages. Her devotion to community medical care is proven by her years of volunteer service at the Sunnyside Ministries Free Clinic in Winston-Salem.

Her outside interests include gardening and knitting.



Shelley Kreiter, MD

Dr. Kreiter received her medical education and Pediatric Residency training at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. She was an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pediatrics with a special interest in Child Abuse and Neglect and Breast Feeding Support before joining Westgate Pediatrics in 2001.

She is Board Certified in Pediatrics and has a strong interest in Breast feeding Medicine.  When not working, she and her husband enjoy long-distance bicycling.



Rebecca Weinshilboum, DO

Dr. Weinshilboum received her medical degree from the New England College of Osteopathic Medicine and did her Pediatric Residency at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. She joined Westgate Pediatrics in 1998.

She is Board Certified in Pediatrics. Dr. Weinshilboum sees patients of all ages. She has a keen interest in adolescent medical problems and helping parents and teens negotiate relationships during those challenging times.

When not in the office, she is kept busy by her two small children and various pets.
