All ACLS courses must be taught according to the new guidelines effective November 30, 2006.

ACLS Tests

The Training Center has the ACLS Provider course exams. Course Coordinators e-mail your request for the exams to Daphne Lopez (daplopez@wakehealth.edu). Include the number of questions on test and 84% pass score. She will reply with an attachment that contains the new exams.

There is no longer a pre-test for ACLS courses, but there is a Pre-Course Self-Assessment and a Pre-Course Preparation Checklist on the CD-ROM enclosed in the student manual. The Training Center has these on file and a FAQ sheet that can be delivered in paper form or electronically if the student is unable to access it. The pre-course self-assessment is best used from the CD-ROM. The paper version is long and cumbersome---another reason for students to have their own manual.
