Join the Medical Center team for the Tanglewood Heart & Stroke Walk. This is the American Heart Association's signature event to raise money and awareness for heart disease and stroke. The event features music, food, and activities for kids. The event is pet friendly and your well behaved dogs are invited.
Join the Medical Center cycle team for the Bike MS Tour to Tanglewood. This event benefits the local chapter of the Multiple Sclerosis Society. The event features 20 to 100 mile routes across Forsyth, Davidson and Davie Counties. The event features music, vendor booths and food.
Do you know someone who is grieving the loss of a loved one? If so please consider referring them to Camp Carousel. Camp Carousel is a bereavement retreat for children and teens (rising 1st graders-rising 12th graders), as well as adults, who are grieving the death of a loved one.
In celebration of Black History Month Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center, AARP, the Winston-Salem Urban League and Gdavis Productions held A Day of Caring.
Get Your Rear in Gear 5K Run/Walk & Kids' Fun Run
The 3rd Annual Get Your Rear In Gear 5K Run/Walk & Kids' Fun Run, was held Saturday, March 23, at JDL Fast Track in Winston-Salem, NC.
This community fitness event was held in April to build relationships and improve the health and well-being of Latino families in Forsyth County. The event took place at Davis Field on the campus of Wake Forest University, in Winston-Salem.
The 17th Annual Hospice Hope Run , was held Sat, April 13, at Deacon Tower at BB&T Field, in Winston-Salem. Money raised will help provide services to families served by Hospice & Pallative CareCenter.
The Ronald McDonald House of Winston-Salem celebrated their 9th Annual Sport a Shirt, Share a Night "event" on April 19. Each $10 donation included a black Sport a Shirt, Share a Night T-Shirt. 100% of the proceeds from shirt donations directly support the Ronald McDonald House.

The Medical Center was the presenting sponsor of the the Susan G Komen Northwest NC Race for the Cure on May 4, 2013, at Salem Academy and College, Winston-Salem NC and won the award for the largest team with over 300 team members.
