The Medical Center will host a free document shredding event for the community Saturday, Nov 8, 9 a.m. - Noon, in the parking lot of the Miller Plaza Building. The service is free but donations will be accepted and will benefit the Tanglewood Heart & Stroke Walk and the Walk to Defeat ALS.
Run, eat some Krispy Kreme doughnuts, and have
some fun! Proceeds from the run support kids concussion research at
the Childress Institute for Pediatric Trauma of Wake Forest Baptist

Winston-Salem Free Dental Clinic Nov 14 - 15
The Winston-Salem NCMOM Clinic will provide free dental services, as a collaboration of the Forsyth County Dental Society and the North Carolina Dental Society. The clinic will set up an 80-station mobile dental treatment facility and provide services to 1,000 or more qualifying adults. Professional and community volunteers are needed.
The event is held under the lights at Tanglewood on a Saturday night. Food is available for purchase from local food trucks. Bring the family and have a wonderful evening under the stars. Proceeds from the event help fund wishes for local children with life threatening medical conditions.
Light a Luminary in your neighborhood and help support families who stay at Ronald McDonald House. Luminary kits are $7 and are avaialbel at the Ronald McDonald House of Winston-Salem. More information.
The Omega Sports Race Series 2014, presented by Wake Forest Baptist Health highlights the community’s best events and promotes a healthy and active lifestyle including the Brenner Fit 5K Challenge and the Ardmore RAH 5k & 10K.
