Free Shredding Nov 8, 2014
Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center will hold a free document shredding event available to the community on Saturday, Nov 8, 2014.
The free shredding event will be held in the parking lot of Wake Forest Baptist’s Miller Plaza building, located at 2200 Cloverdale Ave., from 9 a.m. to noon. Visitors will be able to look on as Cintas Corporation safely destroys their personal documents before it is recycled.
While there is no charge for this service, donations will be accepted, with all of the proceeds benefiting the American Heart Association’s Tanglewood Heart and Stroke Walk and the Walk to Defeat ALS. So whether you are shredding to get organized or taking steps to prevent identity theft, shredding will help you clear out some unwanted clutter and aid the fight to rid the world of heart disease and ALS.
The Tanglewood Heart & Stroke Walk is the American Heart Association’s largest local fundraiser and took place Saturday, Oct. 18, at Tanglewood Park in Clemmons. Wake Forest Baptist is proud to be the local presenting sponsor. More than 1 million Americans take part in the Walk across 300-plus cities nationwide to fund research to erase heart disease and stroke, two of the nation’s biggest killers.
