Brain Tumors

At the Comprehensive Cancer Center, we evaluate, diagnose, and treat all types of brain tumors with a combination of compassionate, patient-centered care and the most sophisticated cancer-fighting tools in the world.

Brain Tumor Physicians

Our team of brain tumor specialists believes that a multidisciplinary approach—which brings together a team of experts from different fields to care for you—is one of the most effective ways to manage and treat cancer. We are the region’s only multidisciplinary clinic for brain cancer treatment. Patients from around the region and around the world come to us for our approach. That means we treat 3 to 4 times the number of brain tumor cases as a standard cancer center. Learn more about brain tumors we treat.

Multidisciplinary Approach to Brain Tumor Treatment

We offer a multidisciplinary approach to the treatment of brain tumors. This involves gathering the opinions of a trusted group of cancer experts, including neurologists, neurosurgeons, medical and radiation oncologists and other cancer care experts. Commitment to Research and Advancing Care

As part of the Cancer Center, our patients have access to clinical trials—investigational treatments that help advance our understanding of fighting and curing cancer. Many of these trials are only available right here at Wake Forest Baptist, and our physicians and staff will help you decide if choosing that pathway to treatment is right for you. You may also want to visit the Brain Tumor Center of Excellence, the research arm of our brain tumor clinical service line.
