Chemotherapy is the use of medications to actively kill or halt the growth of cancer cells. If you have a gynecologic cancer, your gynecologic oncologist will design and manage your chemotherapy regimens. If your cancer is the type that would benefit from radiation treatment, then you will work with our radiation oncologist who specializes in treating gynecologic cancers.
