Portraits and Passports
Our studio portrait and passport services are available to everyone, but please call to schedule an appointment to ensure that a photographer is available.
Portraits are photographed digitally and then are reviewed and a selection made before you leave. Please plan to spend about 20 minutes for the session.
Although there is no standard for attire, we suggest wearing business attire or a lab coat. Appointments are strongly encouraged.
All studio portrait photos are archived for future needs and can be delivered electronically for publications.
Group Photos
Our studio can accommodate up to seven adults for a group photo. For larger numbers, please see the Group Photos web page. Please call well in advance to schedule a group photo.
Passport, Immigration, Application Photos
Passport, Immigration, Application and licensing photo sittings are for clients who require multiple copies of a basic head-and-shoulders shot against a plain light-colored background. The best photograph will be selected by the photographer and printed to the application specifications. These photographs are not archived but may be sent to you for an additional fee. Please call to schedule an appointment to ensure that a photographer is available.
How To Get Started
- Are you a new faculty or staff member or is this an update photo?
- Is this an official passport/immigration photo? If so, what country?
- For other applications/non–U.S. passports, please bring specifications.

Passport and Immigration photos are taken digitally. These meet the specifications of U.S. and most foreign passport and immigration bureaus. Please visit the U.S. Department of State to download and print your passport application.
