Please join us on Thursday, September 13th at the 3rd Annual DEAC Gala!

The Gala is open to all: students, staff, faculty, and the greater Winston-Salem community.

The Gala is hosted by students from the Wake Forest School of Medicine: all proceeds from the dinner and silent auction benefit the DEAC Free Clinic which provides medical care to the undeserved of Forsyth County.

All of our support and funding comes from sponsors like you.

We look forward to celebrating our service and success with you at the Gala!

Gala Info & RSVP

Who is invited to the Gala?
Anyone and everyone of all ages are welcome to attend the Gala!

When and Where is the Gala?
The DEAC Gala will be held on Thursday, September 13th at the Millennium Center in downtown Winston-Salem. Drinks and the silent auction start at 7 pm, the dinner begins at 8.

How much does it cost?
Tickets for the Gala are $60: this includes a sit-down dinner, drinks, two complementary glasses of wine or beer, and entertainment throughout the evening.

When do we need to RSVP by?
Please RSVP before September 6th.

What is the dress code?
The dress code is black tie optional.

Where can I park?
There is plenty of free and easy parking near the Millennium Center. There is a parking deck at 519 North Cherry. The cross streets are 6th and Cherry, and there are entrances from both. Please see the directions below for more details.

I'm a student, and I can't spare the $60. Is there a way I can get discounted tickets?
Yes! We wholeheartedly invite students to come celebrate with us the Gala, and have designed a scheme to make this possible for those of us on a tight budget. If you can provide the DEAC Clinic fundraising committee with 5 names and addresses of people that you think might be willing to support our clinic, and who would be open to recieving information from us, in exchange we will provide you with one ticket to the Gala. Easy! If you would like to bring a guest, then provide us with 10 names and addresses for two Gala tickets. The more the merrier. And hey, if you haven't volunteered at DEAC, we'd love to have you!

All proceeds are used to cover our yearly operating expenses, and the remainder are deposited in the newly-established DEAC Endowment to safeguard the longevity of our student-conceived, student-run free clinic.
