Please join us on Friday, October 4th, 2013 at the 5th Annual DEAC Gala!

The Gala is open to all: students, staff, faculty, and the greater Winston-Salem community.

The Gala is hosted by students from the Wake Forest School of Medicine: all proceeds from the dinner and silent auction benefit the DEAC Free Clinic which provides medical care to the undeserved of Forsyth County.

All of our support and funding comes from sponsors like you.

We look forward to celebrating our service and success with you at the Gala!

Gala Info & RSVP

Who is invited to the Gala?

Anyone and everyone of all ages are welcome to attend the Gala!

When and Where is the Gala?

The DEAC Gala will be held on Friday, October 4th, 2013 from 7-10 pm at the Wake Forest Biotech Place in downtown Winston-Salem.

How much does it cost?

Tickets for the Gala are $60: this includes heavy hors d'oeuvres, drinks, two complimentary glasses of wine or beer, and entertainment throughout the evening.

When do we need to RSVP by?

Please RSVP before September 27th.

What is the dress code?

The dress code is black tie optional.

Where can I park?

The Wake Forest Biotech Place parking deck will be open to the guests of the Gala. There is also plenty of street parking available in downtown Winston-Salem.

I'm a student, and I can't spare the $60. Is there a way I can get discounted tickets?

Yes! We wholeheartedly invite students to come celebrate with us the Gala, and have designed a scheme to make this possible for those of us on a tight budget. If you can help DEAC clinic fundraise at least $40 with the online donation system (please provide us with the names and email addresses of people who HAVE AGREED to donate) or acquire a corporate sponsorship, in exchange we will provide you with one ticket to the Gala. Easy! If you would like to bring a guest, help us fundraise at least $80 for two Gala tickets or acquire a corporate sponsorship. The more the merrier!

About the DEAC Clinic

Delivering Equal Access to Care (DEAC) Clinics are held every Wednesday evening at the Community Care Center on New Walkertown Road.

For more information visit the DEAC Web page.

Donate to DEAC

We welcome all donations of time (can always use more volunteers), donations of items (such as crafts, gift cards, time at vacation homes...) that we can auction during the Gala, or any monetary gifts.

DEAC is registered under the 501(c)(3) of the Wake Forest School of Medicine umbrella: all donations are tax-deductible.

All proceeds are used to cover our yearly operating expenses, and the remainder are deposited in the newly-established DEAC Endowment to safeguard the longevity of our student-conceived, student-run free clinic.

Thanks for your interest and support!
