Dermatologic & Cutaneous Surgery
The Dermatologic Surgery and Cutaneous Oncology Unit serves about 950 patients each year with complex and advanced skin cancer, using Mohs' micrographic surgery. A multiple specialty approach for the patient is favored with some patients undergoing repair after clearance of their tumor by physicians in the fields of facial plastics, plastic surgery, and oculoplastic surgery. Second opinion and diagnostic services are available. The Director of Dermatologic Surgery is Dr. Phillip M. Williford.
