Psoriasis and Skin Treatment Center

The Psoriasis and Skin Treatment Center provides a broad array of treatment options for patients suffering from psoriasis – a chronic skin condition that affects about two percent of the population - and other severe skin diseases. It is led by Dr. Steven R. Feldman, a member of the Medical Advisory Board of the National Psoriasis Foundation.

This unit offers different types of phototherapy for extensive psoriasis. The unit also helped pioneer the use of UVB laser phototherapy for patients with localized lesions of psoriasis.

In conjunction with the Clinical Studies Center of the Department of Dermatology, the Psoriasis and Skin Treatment Center conducts many clinical trials of new agents designed to treat psoriasis and other psoriasis research studies.
