Dr. Moossavi graduated from Wurzburg University School of Medicine, Germany. He completed his Internal Medicine Residency from 1997-2000 and his Nephrology Fellowship from 2000-2002, both at State University of New York at Stony Brook. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Nephrology. He has practiced Nephrology in the Winston-Salem area since 2002. Dr. Moossavi was trained in Interventional Nephrology procedures by Vascular Surgeon Dr. John Ross in South Carolina. He is certified in Hemodialysis Vascular Access Procedures by the American Society of Diagnostic and Interventional Nephrology (ASDIN). He has served on the Medical review Board of End Stage Renal Disease Network 6, the American Society of Transplantation Diversity and Minority Affairs Committee, and the American Society of Diagnostic and Interventional Nephrology Training Program Subcommittee. He is a reviewer for national and international journals. Dr. Moossavi is listed in the Best Doctors in America®.
