Alcohol Distribution
Environmental Health and Safety carries ethyl alcohol for research purposes. The ethyl alcohol is available in either 190 proof or 200 proof. The 190 proof is available in 1 gallon size whereas the 200 proof is available in pints and gallon sizes. The prices of the alcohol is listed below.

190 Proof –1 Gallon Container - $11.67 each or $46.68 case
200 Proof – Pint - $2.46 each or $59.04 case
We now offer electronic ordering through the Alcohol Site. This site has been developed for ordering alcohol more efficiently and producing less paperwork.
However, the purchase requisition form may be used and faxed to 716-0588.
LOCATIONS:
- If you are located on the Hawthorne Campus, alcohol can be picked up at the Alcohol Room, E-Commons, WFUS Receiving Doc Area during hours of operation. HOURS OF OPERATION are Tuesday: 10:00am – 12:00pm and Friday: 10:00am – 12:00pm. Or the alcohol can be delivered to the laboratory.
- If you are located at the Downtown location (PTRP = PTCRC, Dean Building, A1a, and Biotech Place), then please submit the order by 5 pm on Tuesday for delivery on Wednesday.
- If you are located at Friedberg, then the order will be delivered within 24 hours of being ordered.
