The NC Regulations for Protection Against Radiation defines authorized user as "an individual who is authorized by license or registration condition to use a source of radiation." The following list and links specify the different categories and requirements to be an authorized user of clinical sources of ionizing radiation at WFBMC. Each category is linked to the State and Federal regulations as well as the forms to be completed to be an Authorized User. Send the completed forms to EH&S - Radiation Safety; forms will be reviewed and approved by the Medical Radiation Safety Committee (MRSC). You will receive a letter from the MRSC granting you authorization based on the forms submitted. If you have any questions, please contact Radiation Safety at 6-1201, -1202. - Authorized Medical Physicists
