Training Requirements for Engineering and Support Services
Safety training for the engineering and support services work environment +begins at the WFUHS New Employee Orientation where individuals are given a basic overview of health and safety by members of Environmental Health and Safety. Further training consists of completion of the walk-around worksite checklist and recurrent training provided by the Engineering and Support Services department.
What is a Walk-Around Worksite Checklist?
- Designed to the address the multiple environments found at WFUHS.
- Familiarizes staff with essential emergency information, important hazardous materials and waste procedures, and other occupational health considerations.
The checklist should be completed with a supervisor or EH&S Team Leader on an individual’s first day in their designated work environment.
