Meet Our Audiology Team

Wake Forest Baptist audiologists have advanced training and expertise to give you the best care and treatment available. All of our audiologists have either masters or doctoral degrees in audiology and participate regularly in continuing education activities in diagnostic testing and hearing aid technology. They are licensed by the North Carolina Board of Examiners for Speech and Language Pathologists and Audiologists and are certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association or the American Board of Audiology.

Our audiologists frequently work with ENT/head and neck surgeons at Wake Forest Baptist who specialize in treating hearing disorders.

Clinical Manager of Audiology

Meagan received her doctorate in audiology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She joined Wake Forest Baptist in 2007. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology and is licensed by the North Carolina Board of Examiners for Speech and Language Pathologists and Audiologists. She also holds certification from the American Board of Audiology. Meagan has special interests in pediatric and adult diagnostic testing and hearing aids, as well as cochlear implants.

Vestibular Audiology Program Director


Alan received his doctorate from Central Michigan University and was recruited to head the Balance Disorders Program in 2015. He has authored several books and chapters on Balance Disorders and Vestibular Function, and is a co-author of the Clinical Practice Guideline for Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo (BPPV).  He is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology and is licensed by the North Carolina Board of Examiners for Speech and Language Pathologists and Audiologists. His clinical interests include: Balance Disorders, Vestibular Function, Integrated Care Pathways for Dizziness.

Erin received her Doctorate of Audiology from the University of Louisville in 2015 and joined Wake Forest Baptist Health shortly after graduation. She completed her audiology externship through the LEND (Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities) program at Cincinnati Children's Hospital, where she was able to specialize in all aspects of pediatric audiology. She is licensed by the North Carolina Board of Examiners for Speech Language Pathologists and Audiologists and is board certified by the American Board of Audiology. She is also a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology. Erin currently serves both the pediatric and adult populations, seeing patients for diagnostic hearing evaluations, electrophysiological (ABR) testing, and adult and pediatric hearing aid care.

Lisa received her masters degree from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and has worked as an audiologist at Wake Forest Baptist since 1994. She is certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and the American Academy of Audiology. She is licensed by the North Carolina Hearing Aid Fitters Board. Lisa's interests are in hearing evaluations, hearing aids and bone anchored hearing aids.

Janet received her masters degree from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and has worked as an audiologist at Wake Forest Baptist since 1985. She is licensed by the North Carolina Hearing Aid Fitters Board, and her areas of interest include adult and pediatric diagnostic hearing tests, adult and pediatric hearing aid dispensing, central auditory processing evaluations, tinnitus evaluations and educational audiology.

Liz received her Doctorate of Audiology from the University of Tennessee in 2016 and joined Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center shortly after  graduation. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology and is licensed by the North Carolina Board of Examiners for Speech Language Pathologists and Audiologists. Liz currently serves the pediatric population, ranging from infants to teenagers, for diagnostic hearing evaluations, electrophysiological (ABR) testing, and pediatric hearing aid care. Her clinical interest entail aspects of pediatric and educational audiology.

Danielle received her doctorate in audiology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2014 and then joined Wake Forest Baptist Health. She is licensed by the North Carolina Board of Examiners for Speech and Language Pathologists and Audiologists and is board certified in audiology by the American Board of Audiology. Danielle's interests include pediatric diagnostic testing, hearing aids and neonatal hearing screening.

Jillian received her doctorate in audiology from the University of Connecticut in 2012 and then joined Wake Forest Baptist. She is licensed by the North Carolina Board of Examiners for Speech and Language Pathologists and Audiologists and is board certified in audiology by the American Board of Audiology. Her current interests include diagnostic testing in the adult and pediatric population, hearing aids and central auditory processing testing.


Portrait - Jamie HamptonJaime Hampton, Au.D.

Jaime graduated in 2008 with a doctorate in audiology from the University of Oklahoma. She has worked at Wake Forest Baptist in Winston-Salem and Lexington since 2011. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology and holds a Certificate in Clinical Competency in Audiology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. Jaime's focus is diagnostic audiology and hearing aids.

Hailly received her doctorate of audiology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2008 and joined the Wake Forest Baptist audiology team in 2011. She is certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology. Hailly's areas of interest include adult and pediatric diagnostic hearing tests, adult and pediatric hearing aid dispensing, tinnitus evaluations, central auditory processing evaluations and electrocochleography.

Elaine graduated in 2012 with her doctorate in audiology from the University of Memphis. She completed her fourth year externship at Wake Forest Baptist Health. She is certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, and she is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology. Elaine is also licensed by the North Carolina Board of Examiners for Speech and Language Pathologists and Audiologists. Her areas of interest within the field include pediatric and adult diagnostic audiometry, hearing aids and vestibular evaluations.

Rhonda received her masters degree in audiology from East Carolina University in 1995 and has worked at Wake Forest Baptist since 2001. She is certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and specializes in vestibular testing.

Molly received her Doctorate of Audiology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2016 and then joined the team at Wake Forest Baptist Health. She is licensed by the North Carolina Board of Examiners for Speech Language Pathologists and Audiologists and is board certified in audiology by the American Board of Audiology. She is also a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology. Molly has special interests in pediatric diagnostic testing, pediatric hearing aids, and neonatal hearing screening.
