Wake Forest Baptist Health is a leader in head and neck cancer, treating about 300 patients each year - one of the largest volumes in the Southeast. We are dedicated to giving our head and neck cancer patients, who come from a five state referral area, the highest level of surgical expertise and multidisciplinary, compassionate medical care.

Head and neck cancer can be debilitating, often leading to difficulties with eating, swallowing and speaking. Head and neck cancer can also present emotional challenges. We provide a supportive, healing environment and offer extensive programs, including rehabilitation with speech pathologists and patient and family support services to give you guidance and support before, during and after treatment.
