Forensic Nursing Program

The Forensic Nursing Program at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center is an elite group of registered nurses who specialize in providing care and assistance to victims of crimes.

Forensic Nurse Examiners or Sexual Assault Nurse Examiners are available as consults for any victim of:

sexual assault (adults and pediatrics)
domestic violence
violent criminal acts
suspected child abuse
suspected elder abuse

They are also able to provide follow-up information and community resources for these patients.
