Section physicians deliver the highest quality contemporary medical care to large numbers of patients with diabetes mellitus, PCOS, disorders of lipoprotein metabolism, thyroid disease, osteoporosis, hypothalamic and pituitary disease, adrenal disease, abnormalities in calcium regulation, and gonadal dysfunction.
The Endocrinology Clinics are located at 4610 Country Club Rd, Winston-Salem, NC. The Wake Forest Baptist Health Joslin Diabetes Center, the only Joslin/Harvard affiliate in the southeast, is also located at this address.
K. Patrick Ober, MD, currently sees patients on the 7th floor of the Janeway Clinical Sciences Tower and at the Joslin Diabetes Center on Country Club Rd.
Please note that none of the Endocrinology clinics will provide primary care services. The Section is a consultative practice only.
Patients who would like to be seen in consultation in our clinic, will need their Primary Care Physician to request consultation with the Section. Please have your physician's office call 336-713-7251 to request an appointment, as faxed referrals are not accepted. We will ask your physician's office to send your records for our review prior to your appointment.
If you are already an established patient in our Section, please call 336-713-7251 to schedule an appointment if you need to seen prior to your regularly scheduled appointment.
If you are unable to keep your scheduled appointment, please call 336-713 7251 no later than 2 business days prior to your appointment to reschedule, so we may use this time for another patient.
For prescription refills, please have the pharmacy fax the refill request to 336-713-0306.

If you have an urgent medical problem and it cannot wait to talk
